Khethi Nthangase
“AfroSoulJazz” Soultress Khethi Ntshangase with her Afro Twist (4-piece band). Blending urban sounds with African soul on jazzy blue notes. Khethi’s musical journey and pursuit to establish her name as a global brand is cosmic; inspired by her need to think out of the box!
Afro-Twist as a band gets Khethi’s need for fresh grooves that capture the tribal essence of her roots and her passion for jazz and blues music… based in Johannesburg working as Khethi & her AfroTwist which comprises of cool young musicians from South Africa, Lesotho & Nigeria. Essentially a 5 piece band [lead vocal, keyboard, guitar, bass and
percussions] we also have a backup singer and a saxophone play. The band has been together since Feb 2009.

Themba Mokoena
Legendary Guitarist Themba Mokoena. Born in Sobantu, Themba Mokoena started playing professionally in the sixties with marabi and jazz bands such as Sobantu Strangers and Black Magic.
Relocated to Joburg in 1972 where his guitar playing skills caught the attention of father of township theatre, Gibson Kente. This living legend has blessed stages across the world with among other legends Sibongile Khumalo, Hugh Masekela, composer extraordinaire George Lee Larnyoh and Simphiwe Dana.
